We use our own fully automated lathes are used for the production of the glass electrode bodies. We manufacture the glass bodies that house the electrode. The glass body electrode is most often used in laboratory applications.

Lathe Accessories
The new generation of pneumatic chucks specifically designed for the MBS series defines new standards in accuracy and flexibility. These chucks are based on a high quality standard Schunk model, that has been modified to fit glass and quartz manufacturing requirements.
Extended life time, very accurate indexing system, interchangeable jaws and jaws covers and smoother behavior are the main improvements of that new generation.

In some applications, mainly pieces shaped at the end of the tube (such as threads, joins, flanges), the process requires that the tube is shaped both outside and inside.
The outside forming can be performed by using the revolving external forming tool holder, which is a standard equipement of the termographic controlled lathe. At the opposite, the inside forming requires a special 'tool', named 'internal forming tool holder'.
Thermographic controlled lathes
The thermographic controlled lathes manufactured by Sadems are high technology production equipments fully automatically producing a wide range of glass and quartz products (hot forming operations).
From tubes or rods, these machines can shape by using any combination of forming, pushing, pulling, blowing, sealing, collapsing or centrifugation operations, providing a very high dimensionnal accuracy.
Automatic glass forming machines
Sadems Industrie, a developer of computer-controlled glass processes, has introduced thermographic and dimensionally controlled automated lathes that use a Windows-based training system for fabrication of glass or quartz parts.
Auto lathes can be programmed to perform the work of highly skilled craftsmen. This is especially advantageous when manufacturing with high yields as it allows for consistency and repeatability of quality.

Internal forming tool holder
Description:
In some applications, mainly pieces shaped at the end of the tube (such as threads, joins, flanges,…), the process requires that the tube is shaped both outside and inside. The outside forming can be performed by using the revolving external forming tool holder, which is a standard equipement of the termographic controlled lathe . At the opposite, the inside forming requires a special 'tool', named 'internal forming tool holder'.
This accessory can be very quickly mounted in replacement of the right chuck. The holder fits any forming tool with an axis of 15mm. It freely rotates on water-cooled bearing and can move both horizontally (to penetrate inside the tube) and vertically (to adjust inside diameter) . From now on, there is no need to choose between a 'one head forming machine' and a 'two heads machine'. This accessory makes the thermographic controlled lathe even more universal. To cover an extensive range of applications, the unit can be equiped with a motorized NC rotation axis (case of inner threads) and with an edge forming tool carrier (see options below).
